Our work experience scheme enables schoolchildren to gain their first taste of life in a laboratory and provides an excellent opportunity to discover more about a career in research.
We have a highly competitive work experience scheme for 15–16 year olds in their final year of secondary school. This provides a valuable opportunity to gain experience in medical research and the biological sciences. Our work experience is one week long, unpaid, and consists of three days within our specialist facilities and two days spent shadowing a PhD student.
