Users of mouse resources from MRC Harwell Institute should not publish or otherwise disseminate the information without appropriate acknowledgment. The exact wording to be used in the acknowledgment will depend of the mouse line, its source and funding. The list below gives details on the different acknowledgments.

If you are uncertain of the appropriate acknowledgement to us then please contact Archiving and Distribution.

The research reported in this publication is solely the responsibility of the authors and does not necessarily represent the official views of the Medical Research Council. Funding and associated primary phenotypic information may be found at www.mousephenotype.org

Details of the alleles have been published, please include the following references in publications:

3. IMPC mouse lines created at MRC Harwell Institute using KOMP ES cells produced at WTSI

“The (Allele: [state allele]) mouse strain used for this research project was created from an ES cell clone generated by the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute and used by MRC Harwell Institute to generate the mice. The (Allele: [state allele]) mice are distributed by EMMA.”

Methods used on the CSD targeted alleles have been published, please reference the following:

4. GEMM mouse Lines created at MRC Harwell Institute using MRC funding

“The (Allele: [state allele]) mice were obtained from the MRC Harwell Institute which distributes these mice on behalf of the European Mouse Mutant Archive (https://www.infrafrontier.eu/emma/). The MRC Harwell Institute delivered this mouse line (Allele: [state allele]) as part of its commitment to the Genome Editing Mice for Medicine project funded by the Medical Research Council.
