A new partnership for Animal Technologists training
The College of Laboratory Animal Science and Technology (CLAST) and Advance at MRC Harwell are proud to announce a new partnership for the provision of levels 4, 5 and 6 Diplomas for animal technologists and professionals in the field of animal technology and welfare.
The new partnership will offer students multiple benefits. CLAST’s strong track record in the field will be associated with the purpose built facilities at the Advance Training Centre and the local expertise provided by the Mary Lyon Centre at MRC Harwell and its staff, who have been providing courses for the Diplomas for many years.
A new curriculum, with improved flexibility and a simpler modular structure, will make achieving the required number of credits easier and will allow students to fit their studies around their individual professional needs whilst maintaining the rigorous quality assurance they require.
A new website interface (https://clast.org.uk/) is also being launched to coincide with the partnership announcement and the Advance Team will be managing registrations and student activities through it and a dedicated student portal.
